In the News – Chris Boyd and Jeff Perry dig into some of the top stories in the news this past week. They begin their discussion with the latest report on Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which is the primary financial measure of all the goods and services produced in the United States. The recent report shows a surprising increase of 3.3% annualized rate in the fourth quarter of 2023. Wall Street had been looking for a 2% gain. Chris and Jeff change topics and review the results from the New Hampshire Presidential Primary.  They go on to offer commentary about the candidates, political parties (perhaps a third party), and the issues voters care most about (see story link below). Finally, Jeff talks about the rise in crypto currency theft by bad actors from North Korea and the impact on the crypto market.
