To honor Veterans Day, Chris Boyd and Jeff Perry invite John Alexander to join them.
John is a Veteran with service in Desert Storm. In addition to his military service, John is
a recently retired Barnstable Police Officer and has worked as the Military & Veteran
Services Advisor at Cape Cod Community College. During the segment John goes into
detail about his own military service as well as a program he helped start to train police
officers to be better able to assist veterans in crisis. John, Chris, and Jeff go into a
detailed discussion of the various charitable groups on Cape Cod who work to provide
services to Veterans and those currently in the military. John recounts his involvement
with Heroes in Transition (HIT), the Ruck Run and various other services and programs
offered by HIT. The segment ends with a thank you to all Veterans for their service to
our Country.
